  • Fights against HIV and increase literacy.

“We believe that the youth are "diamonds in the rough" - and a great potential national resource that only needs an outlet for their creativity and activism.” – Club President, Osee Romeo

"....I would like to say that the Cultural Awareness Project is such a brilliant idea of United Planet and has been proven successful through my experiences. The joint CAP in the Gambia allowed us as United Planet Ambassadors to fully contribute our skills and various talents...We are certain that our time, energy and enthusiasm really helped to make a difference in areas where help was really needed. We say, Live for the moment, take up the challenge with United Planet and go!" -Osee Romeo

Location of the club
Cameroon is situated in central Africa, in the Gulf of Guinea on the Atlantic Ocean. The country is often perceived as "Condensed Africa", because of the 279 different ethnic groups in the country and the great environmental variety (equatorial forests and great beaches in the South, mountains and plateaus in the West, savannah in the North, as well as a great variation of wild animals). The country has 22 million habitants (45% younger than 15 years old and 58% living in rural areas). The Ambassador Club of Cameroon is located in Douala, the largest city of the country, and the economic capital of Cameroon. (Yaoundé is the political capital).
