Special Projects Coordinator

United Planet is searching for a Special Projects Coordinator to volunteer for 3 to 6 months at our office in Boston, for at least 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Work with the Executive Director on special high priority projects involving partnership development and research, correspondence, and information management. Projects may include:

  • Research: research of potential university partners and collection of contact information based on specific research criteria
  • Data-entry: entry of potential partner contact names and contact details into Excel spreadsheets
  • Initial Outreach: sending of initial or follow-up outreach e-mail to newly researched contacts on behalf of Groups and Partnerships Team
  • Mailings: sending mailings to potential partners as needed
  • Target Groups: research and development of specialized target groups for new outreach initiatives
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent English skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
  • Some experience with Excel and Linked-In preferred
  • Some office experience preferred
