Alumni Community Intern

As an Alumni Community Intern you will be an Ambassador for United Planet and support the Alumni Committee in different tasks and activities throughout the year. We are looking for experienced alum to bringing their ideas and personal touch to United Planet projects. You may participate in the Events, Content Creation, Fundraising, Marketing and Promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Work between 10 – 20 hours per week.
  • Attend in-person activities such as conferences and school fairs (Boston area a bonus!)
  • Join the bi-weekly meetings.
  • Assist in outreach and communication with the alum and efforts to establish nurturing relationships.
  • Supporting the Quest Team and other Ambassadors with projects, videos, and meetings.
  • Serve as a United Planet Alumni and Peer Mentor.
  • Engage in special projects related to global programming as needed

Desired experience

  • Has participated in a United Planet Virtual or Travel abroad volunteer or internship Quest
  • Experience with customer service via email and/or phone/video calling
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and attention to detail in past endeavors
  • Highly organized and task-oriented
