Volunteer in Vietnam

Vietnam is composed of a diverse culture and biosphere from the northern river-banks to the southern coast.  From the Ancient Baiyue Kingdom in East Asia, Nam Việt, Vietnam was established. Vietnam and its popular identifiers– stilt homes, traditional pho soup–contribute to the country’s uniqueness but, it is also heavily influenced by China. Visitors come for the spectacular landscapes, such as the limestone karst peaked valleys, many of which are surrounded by steep cliffs. But despite the beauty of the country, visitors truly stay for the rich traditions and customs, especially the Tet New Year celebrated throughout.

United Planet also offers long-term (6 months and one year) volunteer abroad programs and virtual volunteering and virtual internships (1 month to 6 months) in Vietnam. Learn more about all of our volunteer abroad programs and virtual volunteering and virtual internship countries in Asia.
