American-Iraqi Climate Change and Health Teams will engage 128 US high school students from throughout the US to work with 128 Iraqi high school students guided by university student mentors from Boston University, Salahaddin University, among other universities and colleges. Students will form teams to work on meaningful projects related to climate change and its effects on human health, while developing 21st skills and global citizen leadership. The program will require 4-6 contact hours per week over 6 weeks and 1-2 hours of orientation over a preparation week. Students will receive a $20 honorarium and Certificate of Global Citizen Leadership.

This program is fully funded by the United States State Department. All high school rising juniors and seniors, as well as graduating seniors, are eligible to participate.
