Are you interested in hosting an Afghan youth as an intern, or interested in leading a professional development workshop?
The Virtual Quest experience allowed me to exercise my leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. It was very rewarding to know that my work in the medicine and education field was useful and created a positive impact in my Quest country.
I enjoyed the internship. I was able to know about Jordan and its culture. I love how open-minded people they are. I had a great experience teaching English to them. I will definitely recommend it to people and also participate in the future again.
I learned so much from my experience and am so glad I got the opportunity to participate. I was able to explore my passions through this program and gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. I also was able to gain a greater global perspective and work with people from all over the globe.
United Planet will provide individual virtual internship placements, for the cohort program including Global Citizen Leadership training, to aspiring youth directly in Afghanistan.
Afghan youths will develop the professional and personal skills that will build their capacity to bring about positive change in their society and beyond. They will engage in a range of global virtual internships across the fields of health, education, community development, environmental sustainability, economic development, social entrepreneurship, and more.
United Planet will initiate its “Afghan Global Citizen Youth Leader Capacity-Building Program – Developing Leaders to Shape a Better Future” by offering the opportunity for 20 youth to participate in 2 month-long Virtual Internships.
United Planet is actively seeking sponsors to empower these Afghan Youth Global Citizen Leaders and to help us expand these essential programs exponentially.
