Nigeria located in West Africa and is blessed with hundreds of miles of coastline, national parks and fascinating ancient sites. With abundant mineral wealth, an enterprising population and a productive agricultural base, it can be referred to the Heartbeat of Africa. Its size, people, diverse cultures and location all position the country as the hub of social and economic activities in Africa. Despite all of this, Nigeria is still battling social problems, which welcome volunteer input and work. This is a perfect place to begin one’s exploration of Africa while making a difference in the local community. |
