This innovative project is one of the world's largest integrated bulletin boards!! Where else can you learn about the culture and customs of distant lands directly from the locals and people who have been there? There is so much more! Gain inside travel and business tips! Try different recipes. Learn about history, language, sports, arts, and this is just the beginning. Every country section has maps, flags, and general information as well. Perfect for research, travel, and most of all, broadening your cultural and global horizons.

Just as everyone has something to learn in the VOE Community, everyone also has something very valuable to teach! Please share information about your country, culture, customs, etc. No matter where you are, there are others interested to learn about life in your region and hometown. Our cultural diversity is our greatest gift. Please share your knowledge, experiences, and insights with us here!

UP is compiling a book on the cultures and customs of every country in the world from the perspectives of the local people of each country in order to enhance cultural understanding and friendship.

Imagine a book written by the people of every country on earth! This is one massive project, but extraordinarily worthwhile. Along with sharing citizens from all walks of life, professors, alumni, and students from various universities around the world have participated as authors in "the largest book project on Earth," including Harvard University, MIT, the University of Chicago, Qatar University, the University of the South Pacific, the University of Khartoum, and more.

UP would like to ask you to contribute as an author by completing a 27-question survey, 2.5 pages in WORD format. 1-3 authors will author each country chapter. Full recognition will be given for your participation, unless you wish to remain anonymous.

We hope that each author will share information about his/her own culture in an open dialogue. This type of exchange will hopefully inspire readers to learn more about each country. So far, authors from over 85 nations have participated!!
