"....I would like to say that the Cultural Awareness Project is such a brilliant idea of United Planet and has been proven successful through my experiences. The joint CAP in the Gambia allowed us as United Planet Ambassadors to fully contribute our skills and various talents...We are certain that our time, energy and enthusiasm really helped to make a difference in areas where help was really needed. We say, Live for the moment, take up the challenge with United Planet and go!" -Osee Romeo

Cameroon is situated in central Africa, in the Gulf of Guinea on the Atlantic Ocean. The country is often perceived as "Condensed Africa", because of the 279 different ethnic groups in the country and the great environmental variety (equatorial forests and great beaches in the South, mountains and plateaus in the West, savannah in the North, as well as a great variation of wild animals). The country has 22 million habitants (45% younger than 15 years old and 58% living in rural areas). The Ambassador Club of Cameroon is located in Douala, the largest city of the country, and the economic capital of Cameroon. (Yaoundé is the political capital). |
| A Diverse Team: The ethnic, social and cultural diversity of Cameroon is represented in our team! |
The core Executive Committee is formed by Osee Romeo Tcheupgoum Njacheun, President; Bepyassi Ouaffo Vicaire, Vice President; Ngahane Silas, Secretary; Dimi Muriel Natasha, ViceSecretary; Tsopze Tankeu Laurent, Event Coordinator; Oben Elvis Etaka, Projects Chef; Mbakop Tchikapa Max Hylarion, Cultural Affair Attaché; Tchaho Antianis, Public Relations Coordinator; Nana Andre Nasser, Chef of Mission and Tchouzin Njachoun Innocent as Tresory.
"I am sure happy that I am left with no other word to use than to BIG THANK YOU to United Planet for the opportunity." - Osee Romeo
