What is United Planet's Ambassador Program?

United Planet’s Ambassador Program is designed to assist people of all ages to develop globally-minded leadership skills and gain a rich understanding of diverse cultures. We welcome any student, staff member or individual to become a catalyst for change by participating in United Planet's Ambassador Program. There is a great deal of flexibility within the program, allowing each Ambassador to plan activities that focus on his or her particular interests.

Individuals may choose one of two options within the Ambassador Program:

• The Ambassador Leaders Program for individuals is for students or community members who want to increase cross-cultural understanding and provide volunteer service for a semester or academic year.  All Ambassador Leaders who complete the requirements receive a scholarship for a United Planet Quest volunteer abroad program!  Read more.
   
• The Ambassador Club Program is for those who would like to start a club in their school or community.  If you already have a club that is interested in cultural awareness and community service, you may create a United Planet Affiliate Ambassador Club. Read more.

As a member of United Planet's Ambassador Program, you will receive:

• Opportunities to interact with people from all over the world.
• A leadership manual with guidelines for starting your Ambassador activities.
• The chance to impact your local community or school by volunteering and organizing a variety of cultural activities.
• Discounts on United Planet’s Quest volunteer abroad programs.
• A dedicated Ambassador Program Manager in the Boston office to answer questions and provide support.
