Spanish Language Immersion Programs

Study Spanish in Central and South America with United Planet
United Planet’s unique Volunteer Abroad Quest program combines volunteering abroad, language learning, cultural activities, interesting excursions, and more to provide an incredibly fulfilling experience for volunteers and valuable support for local communities worldwide.

Volunteers can also combine meaningful service work with Spanish language immersion classes in three different countries in Central and South America.

United Planet Short-term Quests with Spanish Language Immersion Classes

Brush up on your Spanish while staying with a local host family and volunteering at an orphanage or helping medical professionals. Start off with intensive Spanish classes lasting either one or two weeks, then begin your volunteer work; learn salsa and the art of Peruvian cooking by night. These are just a few examples of what a United Planet Quest may entail.

United Planet offers short-term volunteer opportunities with Spanish language immersion classes in several countries. Volunteers can choose to add either a one or two week intensive Spanish immersion to the beginning of their Quest. Volunteers take between 15 and 30 hours of Spanish classes per week, and after their classes are completed they begin their volunteer work.

Volunteer work ranges from health care to orphanage work, teaching, construction, environmental work and more. Volunteers support community development through placements at local organizations, clinics and schools. Please visit the individual country pages for more details on projects offered in each location.
