Housing
You will be staying with a family in Cusco where you will receive a private room and 3 meals a day. The families are always very friendly and excited to teach you about the culture of Peru.

Included:

• Transfer from Cusco airport to homestay
• Travel Insurance
• Accomodations/Meals (Volunteers live with host families)
• Full Coordination while in Cusco
• Trip to Macchu Picchu - 2 days and 1 night in Macchu Picchu with guide
• Some cultural activities, such as learning to weave or cooking a Peruvian meal.
• 4 hrs per week of Spanish lessons

Please note that due to the recent storm in Macchu Picchu, we are not currently able to offer this excursion. As soon as the area becomes accessible again we will re start the excursion.

Optional Spanish Language Immersion Course

Volunteers are able to include a one or two weeks Spanish Language course to the beginning of their Quest. Instead of starting work at their assigned project, volunteers spend the first one or two weeks studying Spanish in a language school in Cusco. Volunteers recieve 20 hours of group lessons, or 12 hours of individual lessons (depending on Spanish level) per week. There is an additional charge for the Spanish Language Immersion Course on top of the Quest fee:

• 1 week Spanish Language Immersion Course: $80
• 2 week Spanish Language Immersion Course: $160

Optional Excursions

• Visit to Tipon to see some ancient ruins
• Rafting
• Paragliding
• Visit to Manu Cloud Forest 6 hours from Cusco
• Trip to Cai Cay, a remote cultural village outside of Cusco
