Jordan Details

Housing
Volunteers will stay with host families. Breakfast and dinner will be provided. 

Travel
Volunteers will be met by the in-country coordinator upon their arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, just outside of Amman. At the end of the program the coordinator will facilitate their return to the airport.

Cultural activities
Volunteers will take Arabic lessons and participate in other enriching cultural activities (e.g. cooking lessons, dancing, visits to art galleries).

Excursions
Volunteers will have the chance to visit destinations in Jordan such as Petra, the Dead Sea, and Mount Nebo.

Evaluation Refund: Your feedback is very important to us! You also have the option to support United Planet's Country Funds which support program development and development projects in the communities where our volunteers work. Instead of receiving your $25 refund, you may choose to donate that $25 to the Country Fund where you participated in your Quest. Family Evaluation Refund: UP will only refund one survey per family.

Start Dates: 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month Please note: all applications and deposits should be sent at least 60 days prior to your departure date.

• International Airfare
• Lunch
• Transportation from host family to volunteer site
• Any vaccinations that may be needed before departure
• Any visa fees (if applicable)
