Volunteer Abroad in Guatemala with United Planet Guatemala Quest

Housing
You will be staying with a family in Xela where you will receive a private room and 3 meals a day.

Travel

Volunteers will fly into Guatemala City La Aurora International Airport (GUA) and from there will be collected by a United Planet representative and escorted to the bus station and put on a bus (4 hours trip) to Quetzaltenango. Please note that all volunteers must arrive on a Monday between 9am-2pm and departure on a Monday after 11am in the morning. Volunteers that arrive after 2pm and departure before 11am in the morning, will need to make arrangements to stay in Guatemala overnight.

*Evaluation Refund: Your feedback is very important to us! Upon receiving your on-line evaluation within one month of the completion of your Quest, you will be refunded $50. You also have the option to support United Planet's Country Funds which support program development and development projects in the communities where our volunteers work. Instead of receiving your $50 refund, you may choose to donate that $50 to the Country Fund where you participated in your Quest. Family Evaluation Refund: UP will only refundone survey per family.
