All applications and deposits should be sent at least 60 days prior to your departure date.

Housing
You will be staying with a family in Xela where you will receive a private room and 3 meals a day.

Tax-deductible program fee (US Dollar):

• Cultural activities, such as dancing or cooking
• 10 hrs per week of Spanish lessons

Optional Spanish Language Immersion Course

Volunteers are able to include a one or two weeks Spanish Language course to the beginning of their Quest. Instead of starting work at their assigned project, volunteers spend the first one or two weeks studying Spanish in a language school in Xela. Volunteers recieve 25 hours of group lessons, or 25 hours of individual lessons (depending on Spanish level) per week. There is an additional charge for the Spanish Language Immersion Course on top of the Quest fee:

• 1 week Spanish Language Immersion Course: $90
• 2 week Spanish Language Immersion Course: $180
