Tambopata Jungle is a natural reserve in the Peruvian Amazon Basin considered to hold some of the planet’s greatest biodiversity, and is one of the exclusive habitats of certain birds and mammals in the entire world. The protected area contains a large numbers of species that are now rarely found elsewhere in the Amazon jungle due to poaching -- including tapirs, spider monkeys, jaguars, white-lipped peccary monkeys, and caiman.

Excursion Payment Policy
Excursions will be booked once a full payment has been received. Once payment is made, no changes or refunds are permitted. It is recommended that optional excursions are booked and paid in full as early as possible to ensure availability. Bookings will not be accepted later than one month before the Quest program begins. Please note the cost of optional excursions is NOT tax-deductible.
