Mary Babic
Mary Babic is the Marketing and Communications Director at United Planet.
She has spent a lot of time traveling through many countries around the world -- but she can easily say that the most significant and transformative time abroad has always been while living with people in their homes and working in community projects.
She has worked in a software company in Nicaragua, an orphanage in Morocco (with her parents while on the Peace Corps), a grocery store in England, and in a small village in Panama while doing research on her thesis. She holds degrees from Harvard and Boston University, and has worked in labor unions, nonprofit organizations, startup companies, and large old corporations.
She has two spectacular daughters, a handsome dog, and a yard that is either full of tomatoes or snow. She sings in a band, makes itchy sweaters, writes screenplays, takes a lot of photographs, and still wants to live in Italy one day.
