United Planet is seeking a part-time Facebook Application Manager for a three to sixth month period to join our international team in Boston. As a vital UP team member, this person will help develop and expand our current communications programs online so that United Planet can reach out to new volunteers both in the United States and worldwide. This position involves a great deal of responsibility and impact within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and update Facebook Applications
  • Promote applications
  • Help managing UP website
  • Establish and manage a team of software developers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in software development;
  • Knowledge of FQL (Facebook Query Language);
  • Understanding of Facebook Interface (API) and Markup (FBML);
  • Html, CMS (content management system) experience a plus;
  • Ability to work independently and also work with other team members to accomplish greater organizational goals.

This position can be full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week).
