What did you enjoy most about your Quest experience?

I was very satisfied with my United Planet experience in Ecuador. Our in-country coordinator, Pablo Proano, was friendly, knowledgeable, and always available. In terms of preparation and personality I would give Pablo a 10. Because there were only 4 of us in our program, we received a lot of personalized attention from him.

What was most challenging about your Quest experience?

Time management. Not enough time in the day!

Describe your volunteer work experience.

During my time in Ecuador I volunteered at an elementary school. Our time there was amazing. The children were so caring, friendly, and willing to learn. The teachers were welcoming and helpful.

As a volunteer with United Planet I truly felt like I made a difference in the community. Not only did I learn a lot about my host country, but I also learned a lot about myself.
