What was most challenging about your Quest experience?

Not knowing the language was hard, but it helped me empathize with immigrants in the US. I enjoyed the cultural experiences, immersion in the language and lifestyle, new lifelong friendships, and relationships with the children.

Tell us how you feel overall about your experience.

My trip to Tanzania was a life-changing experience. I have never been so affected by anything else in my life. I would recommend volunteering abroad to everyone. I made life-long friendship with people around the world, who I shared remarkable experiences with. I want to go back and visit all of my friends and family in Africa right now.
