Families Abroad! United Planet's Volunteer Abroad Quest Program is a perfect opportunity for family volunteering. The Volunteer Abroad Quest Program provides meaningful volunteer experiences abroad, and our dedicated team are happy to work with you and your family to find the best fit for you! Volunteering abroad as a family is a great way to introduce your family to new experiences, cultures and people abroad, while bringing you closer to each other as you volunteer in an international community!

Examples of Family Volunteering Destinations: Rajasthan, Himachal or Goa, India Families will work in a group with other volunteers from various countries, having the opportunity to learn not only about India’s rich culture and history, but about others cultures as well. Work includes construction, teaching and health awareness campaigns. Accommodation is in a volunteer house. Families can work in a school in Dar Es Salaam, teaching and tending to the needs of the children they support. Accommodation is with a host family. Families can work in a women's shelter in Santiago. Families work with the women on various projects depending on the needs of the shelter at the time, but this can include helping caring for their children, English classes etc. Accommodation is with a host family. Families can work in the shadow of the Angkor Wat Temple complex, teaching English and working in a local children's center. Accommodation is in a Guest House. Families work and live at a remote orphanage in Transylvania, tending to the needs of the children whose ages range from babies to young adults. Program Costs: The costs for United Planet’s family volunteering programs are dependent upon the location of the project and duration of your stay. The estimated cost per volunteer for a one week program starts at $1,445. This fee includes the following:
