In my life I have had the fortune to meet amazing people from all over the world and with all different backgrounds.  I have come to appreciate diversity and the unique exchange that results from it more than anything!  I hope that we at UP can offer this chance to many more people.  What better way is there to truely get to know a culture than actually becoming a part of their lives and making a difference?!

I believe deeply in the mission of United Planet and I'm proud to be part of this amazing organization. With people from all over the world coming together and working together, I know we can make a difference.

I like being part of the United Planet team because it's a young organization with a lot of drive. The core team provides for a challenging but family-like environment where a diverse group pf people juggle a number of responsibilities in their effort to unite the planet.

In an interconnected world, cross cultural understanding is key and for that I have joined United Planet. United planet not only educates and helps connect different communities they also support communities in need, their mission has no borders. I am grateful to be part of such an organization and hope that together united we can make a difference.

Joining the UP team is a great experience! I think being aware of other cultures is very enriching and obviously crucial for living altogether. I'm glad to add my little drop to the UP ocean!

Volunteering abroad is one of the most rewarding and unique experiences one can have. Learning about other cultures and the needs of others around the world allows us to grow together. And you can do it with United Planet.

The goals of United Planet continually refresh my passions for improving cross-cultural understanding & making the world a better place for everyone.

Having lived in two very different cultures, I saw firsthand the misperceptions people have about other cultures. It’s great to be able to work at a place that is trying to change that.

Making my way across the world has opened me to the views of nations, communities and individuals, and allows me to bring these perspectives to bear on my life here in the U.S.  It's never easy to get yourself abroad, but once you're there, you'll never be disappointed.  If you're even considering it, go for it.

Working with people from all over the world and facilitating international friendships are the main reasons I work with United Planet.  The vision of a growing, prosperous, and unified world is brought closer to reality each day through UP.

Its great to be part of a team in which cultures are celebrated and explored, instead of treated as boundaries. I'm excited to work with United Planet to increase this cultural understanding all over the world.

What I love about United Planet: its mission, a cosmpolitan atmosphere, working with people from all over the world, and a beautiful park in front of the office!

Working here at UP is like the travelling the world all the time!  Just take a look at the team. It is great to be in contact with the whole world, members and volunteers from over 150 countries, and to work everyday to make our world a better place.

Living in China for over a year brought me countless life-changing experiences and a whole new perspective.  I advise anyone who is interested to just go ahead, take the plunge and spend time learning about a new culture. 

One of my favorite UP memories was having an international team picnic during the summer.  It was a nice lunch time break for the team and we were able to sample dishes from all over the world.  My specialty is French cuisine since I am from Lille, France.

It's great meeting people from all over the world.  Having spent several months in Europe, I've come to appreciate the importance of embracing other cultures.  United Planet provides a great means for acheiving this goal.
